You don’t have to go far to keep the whole family entertained! Family-friendly activities around the campground start right at your doorstep. Just 150 meters away, the Aquabaie water park delights young and old alike with its fun pools, water slides, and wellness area.
Right next door, the Brézillet equestrian center offers horseback rides and introductory lessons for children of all ages. Just 2 km away, a movie theater, ice rink, bowling alley, and laser tag arena provide plenty to do on rainy days— great, it’s raining in the Bay of Saint-Brieuc!

Water Activities and Water Sports Centers
The Bay of Saint-Brieuc is an exceptional playground for water sports enthusiasts near the campground. Sheltered and diverse, it offers ideal conditions for sailing, paddling, or gliding across the water—from beginner to advanced levels. Three water sports centers near the campground welcome you nearby:
- Plérin – Tournemine Water Sports Center (10 km): windsurfing, catamaran sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, sea kayaking, wing foiling, and coastal hiking; courses available year-round for all skill levels — www.cnplerin.com

For sea kayaking, the Saint-Brieuc Canoe and Kayak Club offers guided tours departing from Martin Plage, Tournemine, Binic, or Saint-Quay-Portrieux—a unique way to paddle along the cliffs and explore the coves from the water. Looking for a bigger thrill? Jet skis are available near Erquy, while sand yachting is popular on the wide beaches of Val-André and Erquy.
For a memorable family outing, climb aboard a historic sailing ship like the Saint-Quay—a former lobster fishing vessel—for a cruise on the waters of Saint-Brieuc Bay. Deep-sea fishing and shore fishing during spring tides round out the program—the bay boasts one of the most spectacular tidal ranges in Europe. There’s no shortage of outdoor activities around the campground, starting with hiking. The GR34 (Sentier des Douaniers) runs nearby and takes you to the coast’s most beautiful panoramic views: Pointe du Roselier, the cliffs of Plouha, and the capes of Erquy and Fréhel.
For hikers who prefer green spaces, the Gouédic Valley—accessible on foot from the campground—offers a shaded walk through the heart of Saint-Brieuc, featuring footbridges and lookout points.
The Vélomaritime (EuroVelo 4) runs through the area and connects to numerous local cycling loops; the mountain biking center, located 150 meters from the campground, offers marked trails for all skill levels.
Sports activities near the campground also include tandem paragliding over Pointe du Roselier with Ouest Parapente (www.ouestparapente.com), just 9 km away;horseback riding at the Brézillet center right next door; and golf at nearby courses.
In the summer, nature tours led bythe Tourist Office and the Maison de la Baie in Hillion offer visitors the chance to explore the National Nature Reserve, its migratory birds, and its unspoiled landscapes—an activity that is as educational as it is contemplative.
For fans of scavenger hunts and geocaching, the free Baludik app offers five fun trails in the Bay of Saint-Brieuc that turn every walk into a mission for little explorers.
