Grand, majestic, unforgettable: Cap Fr\u00e9hel<\/strong> is one of those places that leave a lasting impression on travelers. From our campground in the C\u00f4tes-d\u2019Armor<\/a>, less than an hour\u2019s drive away, set out to explore Cap Fr\u00e9hel and its 400 hectares of wild moorland<\/strong> that plunge into the sea from the top of pink sandstone cliffs rising more than 70 meters high<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designated a \u201cGrand Site de France\u201d<\/strong> since 2019 and listed as a scenic site since 1967, it offers one of the most spectacular views in Brittany: on a clear day, you can see as far as Jersey<\/strong> and the Channel Islands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visiting Cap Fr\u00e9hel means immersing yourself in a world where land meets sea, and historical heritage blends with unspoiled nature. The lighthouse<\/strong>, Fort La Latte<\/strong>, the Fauconni\u00e8re<\/strong> Bird Sanctuary, and the legendary GR34 trail<\/strong> await you there. The best way to explore Cap Fr\u00e9hel? On foot<\/strong>, along the Sentier des Douaniers. Here, the GR34<\/strong> trail winds along the cliffs and moorland in a breathtaking setting. The flagship route connects Cap Fr\u00e9hel to Fort La Latte<\/strong>: about 4 km<\/strong> of coastal trail (a 1-hour-15-minute walk), with stunning panoramic views at every turn. <\/p>\n\n\n
